"Having been a swimming coach since 1994 and then a life coach since 2001, the mind has always amazed me.

Seventeen months ago, the stress created by the economic effects of COVID caused me to have a complete mental and physical breakdown. My lengthy healing journey not only gave me a greater understanding of mental health but also inspired me to venture further down this path. On the eve of my 61st birthday, I am excited to have enrolled in a Certificate 4 in Mental Health.

After contemplating for well over a year, the search for my ideal RTO brought me to the Hader Institute. James was great to deal with, asking all the right questions to understand my needs, answering all of my questions, and explaining aspects of the course I hadn’t even thought of. His caring nature, encouragement and helpfulness far  exceeded that of any other RTOs I’d spoken with and I look forward to not only studying with the Hader Institute of Education, but also where this next adventure takes me.

I have been blessed to have Syndi Grambau as my trainer and she is AMAZING on so many levels. Without her, I'm sure I would have quit by now.  With her support, I also had the courage to apply for a peer support job - which I got!!  This course is so much better than I expected and I am super excited to be entering this industry."

She was an amazing teacher on our weekly Tuesday night classes and was greatly appreciated for her role in the various assessments and her expertise in the subject. I have contacted a number of staff members at Hader during the duration of my course and I have always received the help that I've needed.
